Upper Cuts is run by Josh, a Yorkshire lad through and through, born and raised here and proud to be working back on home turf. He sharpened his craft over seven years in Wellington, New Zealand, where the work is often technical, exposed to hard weather, and demands serious confidence at height. That time built more than experience. It built judgement, strong rope and rigging skills, and a calm, controlled approach that keeps every job safe and precise.
Now based in Huddersfield and covering the wider Yorkshire area, Josh brings that same standard to every garden, driveway, and site he steps onto. From crown reductions and careful pruning to full removals and storm damage call outs, each tree is assessed properly, the safest method is chosen, and everything is left tidy when the work is done.
